Uniformed Organisations

We have a full age range of Guide Units and Scout Units that meet at Clifton Methodist Church.

Guide Units
Girlguiding (the operating name of the Guide Association) is the leading charity for girls and young women in the UK. Units are run by volunteers and help girls and young women to have space to be themselves, have fun, build friendships, gain life skills and make a positive difference to their lives and their communities. We build girls’ confidence and raise their aspirations. We give them the chance to discover their full potential and encourage them to be a powerful force for good.
The Guide Units include

  • 36th York Rainbows (ages 5 – 7) Monday 5pm ,
  • 36th York Brownies (ages 7 - 10) Monday at 6:30pm
